Who we are
We are a Family based business established in 1984, initially founded by Mr & Mrs Algar, a husband and wife team; Mr Algar taking on the engineering role for the compressed air systems and air compressor servicing etc and Mrs Algar looking after the administration. The company has expanded over the years moving from initially working at home to a small two storey building and now in a new unit at Unit 2, Bessemer Court in Attercliffe, Sheffield. The business is now run by the second generation of Algars a Brother & Sister Team continuing the traditions already established by their parents of encompassing our family values into our business, taking great pride in looking after our customers and staff alike. We aim to provide you with the best product and service using the flexibility of a small company to meet your exact needs.
We are based in Sheffield but work throughout the United Kingdom from the South of England to Scotland and into Wales, so if you are not local, please do not hesitate to give us a call because we might be nearer than you think!
Algar Air takes pride in its highly skilled team; as training and certification is a vital part of any company, we work with each member to make sure they have the correct skills and certification for the job. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Health & Safety
In the every growing world of Health & Safety awareness we are keen to keep up-to-date with current Health & Safety Legislation; this is not always straight forward or easy but with the help of Peninsula Business Services, our contracted Health & Safety Advisors, we are able to keep abreast.
So you can always rely on us to provide you with the correct documentation whether it is Risk Assessments, Method Statements, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), Service Histories, etc.
